Agree, and for self driving during software or teleoperation, if the mfg is the driver they should both self insure and payout at rates relative to the parent companies sales that reflects the large risk to society.

As an heavy AI proponent I felt this integration was forced too early, and appreciated when Microsoft partners like Dell listened to feedback and pulled back from these hardware shortcut integrations on their laptops in order to wait for the techs outcomes to mature before revisiting!
IMO we will want the deep hardware integrations once local first and open models are shipped on these devices by default instead of a glorified shortlink to 3rd party services.
Radiation at higher atmosphere is indeed an issue but one hard to control for in a aluminum plane. I'd love to see more mfg embrace electric compressors instead of bleed air for cabin pressurization to reduce the CNS issues faced by pilots, stewards and passengers due to toxic air syndrome from the contaminants aerosolized by engine-supplied bleed air into the cabin. It's so gross, so preventable, and possibly criminal as operators and manufacturers are found liable for injuries.
Do ground technicians (exposed to the same contaminants, and for engine techs at much higher levels) have the same cancer risk elevations?

Anyone saying it's too complicated a CMS and isn't the right technical fit is so wrapped up in their own world they don't realize that they're not the userbase. It enabled people of every technical skill level to do great things. It brought millions of jobs and gigs to designers, coders, and plugin developers. Wordpress is a tool - and its success proves it was the right solution for those users back then and still today. Your average user isnt asking AI to set up a custom cms every time they want to make an update.
Woocommerce on WP is STILL one of the few ways to self-run a ecomm shop for next to $0 - where the big competitor charges $40 to 300+ a month.
Correct. AIs do not absolve people of responsibility. You can do awful things with the knowledge in the library, but we all know humans are the ones putting things into action, not books.
