Congrats on launching :) I built a pretty similar tool last year [1]. This looks like it has some nice improvements over the stuff I did with mine.

Wish I had the time to improve on the course I launched but I ended up starting a company shortly after launching my course and getting into YC.

for those not in the know, i think this is one of the marketing experiments that the tuple crew is doing w/ a Stripe capital loan. Interesting idea, and will be cool to see how it plays out w/ conversions

thirdweb is a pretty easy way to get started if you’re an experienced web developer. we use them internally at our web3 dev education startup for creating and sending nfts to folks who complete our tutorials.

We’re making the announcement next week, but yes we’re pivoting away from the course marketplace but will still be doing something in dev education :)

We’ll send all our users an email early next week (though we’ve emailed a subset of users already. Namely those who have purchased a course that is already being migrated off the platform).

I launched it 10 months ago on [2]HN and that launch ended up leading me down the path to start a company and get accepted into YC.

It's cool to see other people's take on a problem but this feels eerily similar to my tool, down to some of the copy, layout, and pricing.

Yeah today it's Pyodide inside React. The long term vision is to have an easy way for folks to embed executable code examples in the browser of many types of languages/frameworks and to make it easy.

TF would be cool but as someone else said, TFJS is a more approachable path for adding it :)

They did ask me why I didn't have a cofounder and I told them the reason. The reason being that I wasn't close enough with anyone that was passionate about the same idea and was available to do a startup.

Think of the economic value of leveling up millions of engineers!

A more top down approach would be to just look at competitor revenue in the space. Udemy, Coursera, etc. Multiple companies doing multiple hundred millions of revenue per year
