It's close, but it doesn't quite capture the old DOS pixelated gradients aesthetic.

It also doesn't (yet?) capture the meta-game that was the biggest part of playing scorch in my youth: when you killed a tank it would pop up random insults, and the insults file was just a text file so your local file would eventually be full of in jokes and personal insults for you and your friends.

I see the limit for non-commercial use should be "less than 10.000 daily API calls". Technically 2 is less than 10.000, I know, but still I decided to drop you a comment. :)

10.000 requests / (24 hours * 60 minutes * 60 seconds) = 0.11 requests / second

or 1 request every ~9 seconds.

Maybe you just didn't space them enough.

Maybe, that would be funny. ~7 requests per minute would be a more dev-friendly way of enforcing the same quota.

    My solution is to "meditate" on the ideas and write blog posts, so that I don't bore my friends with the topics, anyone can read the blog or contact me if they really want to.

Some time ago, I wondered if there was a way to be able to orient ourselves in an infinite multiverse. You know, the type where every option that could ever happen and every decision that could ever happen happened somewhere. In that kind of multiverse, we could think about our choices and their repercussions as being at the spear-tip of infinite possible universes...
