There are more types of J-1 visas, version I know about is to get a job offer fist, signed by US employer from some restaurant or other seasonal work. Its summer work and travel program. This is the easiest way to come and work for summer legally if you are regular student.

Yeah, there are three types of J-1 visas. Internship, Trainee, Summer Work Travel. They're all pretty much tied to your student status.

I'm curious how the OP is finding the process, whether he's managed to secure one, etc.

In my opinion hardware unlock (via turbo sim or gevey) is still the best solution, it leaves your iOS intact.

Tried a gevey sim and the phone randomly lost unlock once every few days. Totally unusable. Maybe they have improved since last year...

But you can't do it in two minutes over the Internet.

The best solution is to add the extra to buy a phone that was never locked and to stop whining like a bitch.

Dealers use term "Hold back" (dealer incentives) that will give them a hint You know how it works.

Also, has anybody used truecar.com - does it really work with prices or its just to get you in dealership to tell you they are out of that specific "deal".

truecar.com (and other similar sites), for better or worse, will be the downfall of the traditional car dealership... The price they give you is generally free (or very close) of ANY profit for the dealership.

They have a contract with the dealerships to honor the price, but b/c they cut so close to the bone there are instances where dealerships end up not honoring the price and try to negotiate anyways. I've seen it first hand, it doesn't work (people generally just walk out, as they should...)

10PM - 4AM For me there is a huge variation depending on where I am with project, slow start and very productive at the end - not necessary a deadline, but that helps to.

That REsubmit button is a curse, always evolving :)

Same here, I have added/tweaked a bunch of times since I first submitted back in February. I had a lot I needed to fit into a small amount of space so they don't have to read a mountain of text. I hope PG and the gang understand that I'm normally very good at english however I cut out all of the words that make english sound "nice" ;)

I had bad experience with editing anything online in the past (hello Blogger, GMail and others). So, I first prepared everything in a .txt file before filling it out. It took us two days to write down and check it all.

Still, we already used re-submit twice after that ;)

Seriously, REsubmit is a great feature!

If the applications are read on the daily basis, what's the point of editing and REsubmitting your application?
