Like I said, its something that's annoying, but this is the cost of keeping my privacy. My wife uses Apple for all her stuff and she understands. By any account I wouldn't say this is a "burden" per se. She opens the app, hits a few buttons and hits sends. Hardly something that I would consider a burden.
In the case of this thread, the OP is protecting themselves from Google tracking by using a de-Googled phone. But they do not seem to care that Google is tracking their spouse.
All of her devices are Apple. She's made the decision she's ok with the tracking, which is her decision alone. I'm not going to force her to give up her entire system just to make me happy.
So the burden is on her?
